Hi, I’m Madeline.

I’m a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker.

I consider myself a curious, compassionate person by nature. I love being a therapist because I believe in the power of connection to shape and transform our lives.

I grew up in Texas, attended college in Indiana, and lived in Chicago for several years before I made my way to my forever home, Philadelphia. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Creative Writing. I developed my passion for social work and mental health while working as an academic and college counselor for teens early in my career.

I then attended University of Pennsylvania for my Master’s of Social Work. Since graduating in 2015, I’ve worked in eating disorder, mood disorder, and substance abuse treatment, public and private schools, and outpatient therapy. 14+ years of working with people has helped me understand a wide scope of human experiences. The clients I’ve had the privilege to know along the way have been my greatest teachers.

As a therapist, I have extensive and ongoing training in psychodynamic, attachment based therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I have found this approach absolutely enriching and life changing, both personally and professionally.

I also trained as a yoga teacher in 2012, and have since taught hundreds of studio yoga classes and assisted in training other yoga teachers. I have great appreciation for how movement and embodied experiences can promote healing and recovery.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, singing, spending time in nature and connecting with loved ones.
